My Way
from "My Way" by Frank Sinatra

And now the end is near
and God's about to draw the curtain
And now, this much is clear
I screwed it up, of this I'm certain
I've lived a boring life
I ran in circles on the highway
But more, much more than this
I blew it MY WAY

Success, I've had a few
but then again, too few to mention
And as I fumbled through
I screwed it up without exception
I've stumbled down the course
Each shakey step along the highway
And more, much more than this
I blew it MY WAY

If there were times I did things right
It was a fluke, an oversight
And if there was the slightest doubt
I threw it back or spit it out
When I stood tall, I took a fall
And blew it MY WAY

I've cheated and I've lied
I've spent a lifetime drunk and boozing
And now as life subsides
I find it all so damn confusing
To think I flubbed it all
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh no, oh no not me
I blew it MY WAY

There goes my life, what was it for?
I lived it rotten to the core
I was a jerk - I had no friends
Now this is where my story ends
That's how it goes - The record shows -
I blew it MY WAY!
